Youth Group

RUMC Youth Group is open to kids age 10 and above.  Some of our 2010-2011 activities were attending a Springfield Falcons game, ice skating, and volleyball games.  We are looking for help with the advisement of the youth group.  Please contact the Pastor or the Church secretary for more information.

The Youth Group is also a member of the VEWS chapter of Giv²(Giv Squared).  Giv² is a corps of youth and adults giving back to our communities in response to the gifts of God.  Together, we explore our faith through service and fellowship.  We meet every other month as a chapter.  Our recent missions have served:

• local nursing homes in Vernon
• Channel 3 Kids Camp in Andover (http://www.channel3kidscamp.org/)
• MARC in Manchester (http://www.marcct.org/)
• Bennett Academy in Manchester (http://bennet.ci.manchester.ct.us/)
