One of my favorite Thanksgiving stories is the one about a man who had his billfold stolen and yet said he was still thankful.  Someone asked him why he was so thankful and he said for three reasons:

1.  I am thankful because I didn’t have much money in my wallet.

2.  I am thankful because I was not hurt by the robber.

3.  But most important, I am thankful that I was the one who was robbed and not the robber!
